Spaghetti with minced meat

Ingredients

  1. 400 gspaghetti
  2. Cooking pot with water half full
  3. 1 teaspoonsalt
  4. Minced meat
  5. 1 kgminced meat
  6. 2 tablespoonscooking oil
  7. 1 teaspooncurry powder
  8. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. Water
  11. 2-3tomatoes
  12. 1medium sized onion

Cooking Instructions

    Bring the water in the cooking pot to boil then add the salt, add in the spaghetti(either whole or you can cut them in half). Lower heat and let it simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.Keep stirring using a fork to prevent them sticking together.

    After it has cooked, drain out the hot water and pour cold water on the spaghetti then drain it out as well. This prevents the spaghetti from continuing to cook.

    For the minced meat, put it in a pan and on heat, let the meat dry out without adding anything, keep stirring using a fork.

    Put cooking oil in a separate pan then add in chopped onions, stir them till golden brown.

    Add in the chopped tomatoes and let them cook and become soft at least 3 minutes.

    Add in the curry powder, turmeric and salt then stir and let them cook 1 minute.

    Add in the minced meat and stir to combine with the rest of the ingredients. Let this cook for at least 5 minutes.

    Add half a cup of water and let this simmer for another 5 minutes. The meat is then ready to be served.

    Serve the previously prepared spaghetti with the minced meat.
