Ingredients

  1. 2corn cobs (desi ones)
  2. 1American corn cob (sweet corn)
  3. 2green chillies
  4. 2 tspghee
  5. 2 tbspmilk
  6. 1/2 tspMustard seeds
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. Pinchturmeric powder
  9. 1 tspsugar
  10. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder (optional)
  11. SomeChopped coriander
  12. As requiredChat masala
  13. 1Lemon
  14. 1 tspDessicated coconut

Steps

  1. 1

    Remove corn kernels from the cobs. Grind it with green chilies into paste using milk.

  2. 2

    Heat ghee in a pan. Crackle mustard seeds in it. Add turmeric powder and then the ground corn mixture. Add salt and give a good mix. Cover it with a lid and let it cook for few minutes. When it stops sticking to the pan, add sugar and off the flame (cook time 8-10 minutes)

  3. 3

    Transfer to a serving plate, add chopped coriander, coconut, chat masala and lemon juice
