By Anne Byrd
Steps
- 1
1) Place a rack in the center of the oven, and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease and flour a 13-by 9-inch pan and set aside.

2) Place the cake mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Add the pumpkin, eggs, cider, and oil. Blend with an electric mixer on low until just combined, about 1 to 2 minutes. Turn into the prepared pan. Place the pan in the oven.

3) Bake until the cake springs back and tests done, about 30 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven, and prepare the glaze. Glaze the cake while warm and let it rest 1 hour before slicing.
Glaze: Place 2 tablespoons soft butter, 2 ounces soft cream cheese and 1 teaspoon vanilla in a bowl and blend until smooth. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and beat until creamy
