Ingredients

  • 1 cupWhole wheat flour
  • 1 cupRagi flour
  • 1 cupghee/butter
  • 1 cupGrated/powdered jaggery
  • 1 tspBaking powder
  • 2 tspPista essence
  • 2 tspGreen food colour
  • Milk if required
  • Chopped Pistas

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat butter and jaggery till light

  2. 2

    Add in sieved flours and baking powder

  3. 3

    Add in essence and colour

  4. 4

    Add chopped Pistas

  5. 5

    Knead dough

  6. 6

    Add milk if required

  7. 7

    Make small balls of the dough and cut in desired shapes

  8. 8

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 mins
