Wash rice, parboil. Cook about five minutes until you can break the rice into two (that's how to cook a perfect rice for fried or jollof rice)

Sieve out Water and rinse the rice with cold water

In a bigger pot, cook the chicken until a little soft. Remove the chicken and keep in a sieve to remove the remaining water

Add the parboiled rice into the stock and add some curry powder until you achieve your desired colour for the rice. Ensure the water and the rice you're cooking are of the same level, to avoid making a soggy fried rice.

When water has dried up, set aside the pot and in a frying pan add vegetable oil or melt butter.

Pour in all the crunchy vegetables you must have previously cut. You can decide to fry in batches depending on how big the vegetables are and the amount of rice you're preparing.

In another frying pan, add the rice and add some quantity of vegetables to it a d stir for one minute only.

Repeat the process until you've finished frying your fried rice

In a deeper frying pan, add some vegetable oil. Prepare to fry the chicken you set aside from the onset.

Add a few spoons of honey to a plate to enable you coat the chicken. Coat the chicken in honey and fry until golden brown.
