Combine milk, sugar, flour & salt in pan. Stir in water, cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

Add small amount of hot mix to yolks, return to mixture. Cook 2 mins, remove from heat.

Add butter, vanilla & coconut, cool to room temperature. Pour into pie shell.
