Ingredients

45 minutes
  • 500 gmsBoneless chicken
  • For marination
  • 2 tbspKashmiri chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  • 1 tspCurd or lemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • For grinding
  • 1Onion med sized
  • 2Tomato med sized
  • 1-2 clovesGarlic
  • 1 inch Ginger - a tiny piece
  • 13Cashews soaked- can add up to thicken the gravy)
  • to tasteSalt
  • Remaining items
  • 50 gmButter
  • 25-50 mlFresh cream- how creamy u want the dish
  • 1 handfulKasuri methi
  • As neededVeg oil for frying
  • Salt if needed
  • 1 tspHoney or sugar(0ptional,)-

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Marinate the chicken with the ingredients suggested...keep it for 20 minutes...then fry it

  2. 2

    Saute the ingredients under grinding except cashews...when it's done...keep it aside to cool. Then grind it with soaked cashews..and filter it with a sieve...it will give the gravy a smooth texture

  3. 3

    Melt the butter and add this grinded paste..stir occasionally till bubbles appear

  4. 4

    Add in fried chicken pieces..and cook.adjust the consistency..and cook for two more minutes

  5. 5

    Add in kasuri methi..cook it closed for two minutes

  6. 6

    Add sugar or honey

  7. 7

    Off the stove...add fresh cream-...it's ready
