Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupwater
  2. 1 cupyogurt
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 2 tablespoonsoil
  5. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  6. 1 teaspoonfenugreek seeds
  7. 8-10curry leaves
  8. 1/2 -inchpiece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  9. 3green chiles, slit down their lengths
  10. 1 teaspoonchilli powder
  11. 1/2 teaspoonground turmeric
  12. 100 gmbeans

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat the water and yogurt together until smooth. Add salt to taste

  2. 2

    Heat a wok or earthen pot over medium-high. When hot, add the coconut oil.

  3. 3

    Throw in the mustard and fenugreek seeds. When they begin to splutter, add in the curry leaves, shallots, sliced ginger, and green chiles. Fry for a couple of minutes, until very fragrant.

  4. 4

    Add chile powder, turmeric, and ground fenugreek and fry for a minute or two.

  5. 5

    Turn off the heat and stir in the yogurt mixture.

  6. 6

    Heat oil and saute beans.cover and cook till tender.Add beans in curry.

  7. 7

    Serve with rice
