Ingredients

  1. 300 gbasmati rice
  2. Halfcauliflower-florets
  3. 10-12french beans
  4. 1carrot
  5. 1/2 cupgreen peas
  6. 1 teaspoonwhite pepper powder
  7. 3-4cardamoms
  8. 4-5cloves
  9. 1 teaspoonblack pepper powder
  10. 1 teaspoongaram masala
  11. 8-10Kajus/cashews
  12. 10-12kishmish/raisins
  13. As neededoil
  14. To tasteSalt

    Clean the rice and let it soak for few minutes in water

  2. 2

    Separately boil some water in a vessel and add the cinnamons, cardamoms, cloves and bay leaves into it. Once it boils add rice into it and let it cook

  3. 3

    Heat some oil in a pan and add the chopped vegetables into it. Add salt, white pepper and black pepper powder and saute it

  4. 4

    Cover and let it cook for 10 mins in low heat. Add garam masala and remove and keep it aside

  5. 5

    Fry some kaju and kishmish and keep aside. Now if your rice is cooked, strain it properly and mix these veggies into it. Also add the kaju and kishmish and serve it with raita or any side accompaniment
