Ingredients

  • 1 kgRice (Basmati or any Long grain Rice)
  • 4Tomatoes
  • 5Onions (sliced)
  • 4 tbspGarlic (pounded)
  • as neededWhole Garam masala (few Cinnamon sticks, 2-3 Bay leaves, 1/2 tsp Cloves and 1 tsp Blackpepper)
  • 2 tbspCummin seeds
  • 5Potatoes (halvd)
  • to tastesalt
  • 1 kgMutton or Beef Steak or 1 Chicken (pcs)
  • 1 tbspGinger (pounded)

Steps

  1. 1

    Braise onions in 1/2 cup ghee mixed with 1/2 cup oil till brownish colour add garlic and whole garam masala,

  2. 2

    Now add tomatoes, ginger and saute till paste like add water and meat close the lid and keep on boil till it's tender.

  3. 3

    Now remove the broth of meat in a pot and keep on flame if water is less in broth can add little water then add potatoes and cook them till almost done.

  4. 4

    Add rice and cook and dry up the water a little then simmer till done.
    If using charcoal stove it's much yummier.
