Ingredients

15 mins
7-8 regular pancakes
  1. 200 gramsfine semolina
  2. 4 tablespoonsour curd
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1 pinchasafoetida (optional)
  5. 1small peeled, grated carrot
  6. as neededOil to shallow fry
  7. as neededEnough water to blend into a mixture
  8. 6-8finely sliced French beans
  9. 1large green chilli finely sliced
  10. 2 tablespoonfinely chopped coriander leaves
  11. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  12. 1/2 inchpeeled and grated ginger

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, combine semolina, curd, salt and mix well with water to create a thick batter

  2. 2

    Add the rest of the ingredients besides oil

  3. 3

    Drizzle some oil on a non stick pan

  4. 4

    Pour in a laddleful of batter onto the center

  5. 5

    Cook on Low heat by flipping both sides as they turn light brown

  6. 6

    Take off heat and serve while warm with chutneys and ketchup

  7. 7

    Tips: avoid using green chilli if cooking for kids.

  8. 8

    Tip: use any easily gratable vegetables on the pancake besides the once mentioned. Slicing vegetables finely will ensure even cooking
