Ingredients

  • 1 cupzobo leaf
  • 3 pcsginger
  • Pineapple
  • 5 pcsclove
  • Sugar to your taste
  • Pineapple flavour
  • Foster clerks optional
  • Potash (kanwa)

Steps

20mins to cook
  1. 1

    Wash the zobo leave.

  2. 2

    In a pot put the zobo leaf,pineapple, cloves,grind the ginger and add it to the pot with enough water.

  3. 3

    Set it on fire and let it cook for about 15-20mins.

  4. 4

    Sieve it and let it cool completely.

  5. 5

    Add sugar to your taste, foster clerk and flavour. Once you notice the zobo is sour you can add a bit kanwa (potash) it will help to reduce the sour.

  6. 6

    Pure it into a container and refrigerate it. When it's block bring it out, pieces it and enjoy.
