Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  • 10.5 ozgnocchetti sardi pasta (about 300 grams)
  • 3/4 cupbasil pesto (about 200 grams)
  • 1ball fresh mozzarella
  • 10cherry tomatoes
  • Grana Padano cheese shavings, to taste

  1. 1

    Cut the mozzarella and cherry tomatoes into small pieces in a bowl and add a pinch of salt. Add the pesto (I make mine at home with basil, olive oil, Grana Padano, almonds, and salt) and let it rest.

  2. 2

    Cook the pasta, drain it well, and add it to the bowl. Mix everything together, then serve on plates topped with cheese shavings and a couple of basil leaves.

    Note: This recipe can also be served cold as a pasta salad.
