Soak the dal for 4-5 hrs. Grind it to thick and coarse paste with black pepper and saunf. Now add salt and beat it for 2-3 mins. Take kadhai add oil and heat it. Now make thick pakoras from the batter and semi cook them. Take out from oil and let them cool. When cool completely then cut into small pieces and deep fry again till golden brown. Serve it hot with khatti meethi chutney or green chutney.
