Ingredients

6 servings
  • For dough:
  • 1 cupWheat flour
  • 1/4 cupBesan flour
  • 3/4 cupWater
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1 tspOil
  • To Make methi masala:
  • 1 cupMethi
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspChilli powder
  • 1/4 tspGaram masala powder
  • 1/4 tspCumin powder
  • 1 tspGhee
  • To tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a kadai, heat a tsp of ghee and Satue the methileaves until raw smell goes.

  2. 2

    Add turmeric, cumin, chillI, garam masala salt and saute well.

  3. 3

    Turn off the stove and transfer to a mixing bowl and Add the wheat and besan flour, warm water, oil, salt.

  4. 4

    Once it cooked.Turn off the stove and transfer to a mixing bowl and Add the wheat and besan flour, warm water, oil, salt. Make a tight dough.

  5. 5

    Heat the tawa. Place the roti. Flip it and cook on both sides, spread ghee on it.

  6. 6

    Once done remove from tawa. Have it with green chutney or onions and lemon or tomato ketchup.
