Steps

Soak rice, toor dal, urad dal, bengal gram, red chilli, fennel seeds together about 3 hrs.

Grind them into little coarse batter Add turmeric powder and salt to the batter.

Batter should not be too thick or thin. Heat oil in a pan, add musterd seeds, when it starts to splatter add hing, curry leaves, onion.

Onion should not be over cooked.

Add drumstick leaves and salt. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Once cooked mix them with the batter.

Add coorinder leaves and coconut to batter before making dosa. Adjust the salt.

Heat the dosa tawa and pour the batter to make Dosas. Use gingerly oil or coconut oil or ghee to make dosa.

Serve hot with butter, jaggery and aviyal.
