Ingredients

  • 1 cupsooji
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 1/2 cupGrated cauliflower
  • 1/2 cupGrated carrot
  • 1/4 cupboiled green peas
  • 1Finely chopped capsicum
  • 1Small chopped onion
  • 1 spoonChopped coriander
  • 1/2 spoonChopped ginger
  • 2Chopped green chilli
  • 1/4 tbspeno
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoongaram masala
  • 1/3 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • Water as per requirement
  • as neededOil

Steps

  1. 1

    First of all take a bowl,add sooji,curd, all vegetables, coriander
    Green chilli, ginger, salt, garam masala, cumin seeds, red chilli powder. Mix it well and
    make smooth paste…if paste is thick u can add little water as required.

  2. 2

    Keep the batter aside for 10-15 minutes then add eno.. Don’t whisk batter too much.
    Pre heat an appam pan and brush moulds with oil.

  3. 3

    Pour the batter in moulds…Cover and let them simmer for 2 minutes on low medium flame…
    When appams get golden brown one side then flip it and cook it for 2 minutes till
    both sides gets golden brown. sooji paniyaram are ready. Transfer it on plate..
    Serve it with chutney and sauce…..Enjoy…
