Wash urad dal and soak in water overnight

Drain the soaked ural dal. In a mixer add the dal, ginger, green chilled and grind to a coarse paste.

In a mixing bowl, take flour, add the dal paste along with red chilli powder, coriander powder, mango powder, salt and hing. Knead to a firm dough. Set aside for at least 15 minutes.

In a karahi, heat enough oil for deep frying. Roll the dough into 5-6 inch poories and fry till crisp and brown.

Serve with your choice of sabzi or pickle.
