In a bowl beat sugar and butter untill light and fluffy using whisk or electric mixer.

Add in egg and mix

Mix flour,vanilla flavour (if its in powder form) and baking powder together

Gradually add in the flour mix alternating it with milk untill the flour finish

Scoop in the batter into a cupcake pan (put baking paper on the hole)

Pre heat the oven and bake. Your cake is baked if a toothpick inserted through comes out clean.
