Add maida in a bowl.Mix baking powder,pinch of salt, ghee and refined oil.Add water half cup approximately and knead into a stiff dough.Cover and set aside.

Meanwhile grate coconut.Heat ghee and lightly fry semolina.Add little sugar,mawa and grated coconut.Toss well till a lump like texture is formed.Add chopped almonds and raisins.Sprinkle cardamom powder and toss well.Set aside to cool.

Make small balls out of the dough.Roll two balls like chapatti. Add little coconut mawa mix in the centre of one chapati.Smear water around the side of the round all over.Cover with another chapati and fold the edges.

Make a sugar syrup till one string consistency.Set aside.Heat oil and fry the gujiyas in batches in low heat.Dip the gujiyas in sugar syrup and sprinkle chopped nuts.Allow to cool and refrigerate so that they stay fresh for a longer period.
