Chop the onions and tomatoes in thin semi slices

Cut the lettuce to bite size chops

Put the onions, tomatoes and lettuce in a bowl

Add a little salt, the pinch of sugar and stir a little with a fork

Add the vinegar and give a quick stir

You can now keep it aside for a while so as to allow infusion of ingredients, and salad is now ready to be served
