Ingredients: For masalah:; 1 kg Chicken; to taste Salt; 4 Onion; 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste; 2 tsp Red chilli powder; 3 tsp Coriander powder; 1 tsp Turmeric; 2 tsp All spice powder; 6-8 Dried plum; 1/4 cup Tarmarind pulp; 750 gm Tomatoes; 1 tsp Blackpapper powder; 3 Elaichi; Potatoes (optional); 6 Green chillies; 2 tsp Zeera; 1/2 tsp Raidana powder; For boiled rice:; 750 gm Seela rice; 1 tsp Zeera; Cloves 3to4; 10-12 Peppercorn; Bay leaves 2; Lemon half (round cuts); to taste Salt; For layering:; Boiled rice; Gravy + orange colour; Boiled rice

For masalah:
1 kgChicken

2 tspGinger garlic paste
2 tspRed chilli powder
3 tspCoriander powder
1 tspTurmeric
2 tspAll spice powder
6-8Dried plum
1/4 cupTarmarind pulp
750 gmTomatoes

For boiled rice:

Steps

Pour sone oil in a pot. Add onion wen it trunslucent add ginger garlic paste saute it well.

Add tomatoes and all the spices of masalah together and saute it till the oil comes.

Now add chicken and potatoes together.cook until it get tender.

Add green chillies and keep aside.

Now boiled the rice with all the boiling ingredients mentioned above.

Now its the time of layering. Firstly rice then gravy then again rice and orange food colour. And green chillies in it. And take a steam till rice is fully cooked.

Serves with roasted cumin raita.
