It's salty.. It's sweet... This ragi pearl millet cookies are bundle of joy for our taste buds.. Millets are powerful sauce of energy, fiber, iron, carbohydrate and calcium..

Dry roast ragi and bajra for 1-2 minutes. Let it cool. Grind it to nice flour in mixie.

Keep all ingredients ready. In a bowl mix butter and sugar powder. Mix it nicely. Seive flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add cumin to it. Mix with finger tips until crumbles. * ensure proportion of salt if using salted butter.

Add milk and knead dough. Line tray with butter paper.

Make equal size cookies out of it. Bake in pre heated oven at 170 for 10-12 minutes.

Once cool store in air tight container. Enjoy with tea or coffee.
