Steps

Either Fry Sausage in olive oil or grill them just so they are browned all over

When browned set aside if fried drain on kitchen pape

Fry the sliced onions in a large deep frypan, when opaque in colour stain off excess oil, and add the boiling water and stir

Salt & pepper to taste

Then add the stock cubes and stir in.

Slice tomatoes and add to the onions stir

Add the sausages back to the pan and bring to the boil mix onions and tomatoes all together

Then add the cornflour/ starch to the mix stirring then add the Balsamic vinegar

Transfer the sausage mix, when boiled to a deep oven proof dish and cover with a lid or foil.

Cook slowly for about 1 1/2 hours stir once half way through cooking

Serve Hot with Mashed Potato, or boiled New potatoes with peas and carrots
