Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 & 1/2 cup chopped banana flower
  2. 1big potato(cut into pieces)
  3. 1 tspginger paste
  4. 4green chillies paste
  5. To tastesalt
  6. 1 tspturmeric powder
  7. 2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  8. 1 tspCumin powder
  9. 1/4 tspgaram masala powder
  10. 1 tspghee
  11. 3 tbspoil
  12. 1 tspsugar
  13. As neededTo fry oil
  14. 1 tbspGram flour
  15. 2 tbspcornflour/flour
  16. 1 cupbreadcrumbs / cornflakes powder
  17. 2bay leaves
  18. 2dry red chillies
  19. 2cardamom
  20. 1 tspCumin seeds

  1. 1

    Boil and squeeze water from banana flower. Keep aside. Add 3 tbsp oil into pan. Let it hot.Add cumin seeds,bay leaves,dry red chillies, cardamom. Add potatoes.Add salt, turneric powder. Fry well.

    Add banana flower. Add salt, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, cumin powder, ginger paste,chilli paste. Cook using lid in low flame.. After 10 minutes add 1 cup of water. Let water evaporate.

    Let it cool. Smash well. Make thin batter of cornflour and gram flour adding salt and water. Make balls of bananaflower,dip into the batter and roll on bread crumbs and deep fry into oil. Serve with salad and sauce
