Chanar paturi is a traditional yummy steamed Bengali recipe of cottage cheese/chana that is flavoured with mustard paste, grated coconut and green chillies.Try this recipe and serve it with hot steamed rice.
Steps

Grind black mustard seeds with two green chillies to a smooth paste in a mixer.

In a bowl mash paneer/chana until lump free.

Add in mustard-chilli paste,grated coconut,salt,sugar,plain yoghurt and mustard oil.Mix them well and keep aside.

Heat the banana leaf sheets from one edge to another (glossy side down)over low flame for a seconds.This will help it to become more pliable so that it can be easily folded without breaking.

Now place some of the paneer mix in the centre along with a chilli and fold them to make it a square parcel.

Tie with thread that the parcel will not open while cooking and keep them aside.Repeat this process with rest of the cottage cheese/chana mix.

Now heat a non-stick tawa,grease it with some mustard oil and place all the folded banana leaf parcels.

Cover and cook for 6-7 minutes in a low flame.

Carefully flip them over and cook the other side for 5-6 minutes or till done.

Serve the chana or cottage cheese paturi with hot steamed rice.
