Ingredients

  1. 1 litreFull cream milk
  2. 1/2 cupSabudana
  3. 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  4. 1/4 cupSugar
  5. 15-20 strandsKesar

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak sabudane in 1/2 cup water for 4-5 hours.

    Heat milk in a heavy bottom pan.

  3. 3

    When the milk comes to a boil, add the soaked sabudane and saffron strands.

  4. 4

    Simmer the heat and let the kheer cook till it gets thick and the sabudane are cooked. (approx 40-60 minutes)

    Keep stirring in between.

  6. 6

    Add the sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.

  7. 7

    Serve hot or chilled.
