The secret to this recipe: today I added a medium cup of suet to the fried kibbeh filling, and it turned out juicy and delicious!
Steps
- 1
First, soak the bulgur in warm water for 15 minutes. Add the spices, lean meat, onion, and semolina, then grind the mixture twice in a meat grinder. Knead the mixture very well.
- 2
To make the filling, sauté the ground meat. Once the water evaporates, add finely chopped onions and salt. When cooked, add the walnuts and black pepper. Let the filling cool before using.
- 3
Shape the kibbeh as you like and fry in hot vegetable oil.
- 4
For the second type, boil the kibbeh in salted boiling water with a small cup of pomegranate molasses. For the sauce, sauté onion, olive oil, garlic, and red pepper paste. Toss the boiled kibbeh in the sauce.
- 5
Today, I made the fried kibbeh by hand without a mold after the power went out and I was in a hurry.
- 6
Enjoy! It's really wonderful and delicious! 😋😋
