Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 6leg pieces
  2. Marination:
  3. ½ tbsp turmeric powder,
  4. ½ tbsp red chilli powder
  5. Marination:
  6. ½ tbspsalt
  7. 2 tbsphung curd
  8. For base:
  9. 3 tomatoes,
  10. 3 onions,
  11. as neededgarlic and ginger

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the chicken with the ingredients mentioned above and let it rest for an hour.

    To prepare the base, grind onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic.

    Add the base in a pan with mustard oil and saute it unless the oil is separated

  4. 4

    Take another pan and add mustard oil and put in the marinated chicken pieces and saute it for 4-5 minutes on high flame.

    Add the onion tomato base in the pan, give it a nice mix and cover the pan. let it cook for 7-8 minutes on a low flame

  6. 6

    Remove the lid and give it a nice stir and some water. Cover the pan again and cook the chicken unless it becomes tender (low flame)

  7. 7

    Serve in a plate and garnish it with mint leaves
