Ingredients

2 servings
  1. For making gatta
  2. 1 cupGram Flour (Besan)
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  6. 1 tspcarom seeds
  7. 1 pinchsoda
  8. For gravy
  9. 1onion
  10. 1tomato
  11. 1 tspgaram masala
  12. 1 tspcumin seeds
  13. 1clove
  14. 1 inchcinnamon
  15. 3-4green chilli
  16. 4-5garlic
  17. 1 inchginger
  18. 1 tspcoriander powder
  19. 1red chilli powder
  20. 1/2turmeric powder
  21. For tadka
  22. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  23. 1bayleaf
  24. 5 tspmustard oil
  25. as neededGarnish with coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    First make a dough of adding all spices given for gatte.boil water

  2. 2

    Now make a long chain of dough in clean slab and cut into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Now boil this cubes in water for 7 to 8 minutes till it cooked.

    Take out from water and fry the cubes in mustard oil.

  5. 5

    Now for gravy take all ingredients in a jar and make a smooth paste,leave powders,in oil crackle the cumin and bayleaf then transfer the gravy material and roast in medium flame,till it becomes golden.add turmeric powder,red chilli,coriander powder and salt.

    Transfer all gatta in gravy and roast for 5 to 10 minutes more then add leftover water of boiled gatta's for gravy

    Take out some gatta dry it tastes awsum now add water as u required in gravy,boil it nycly,serve with roti and garnish with coriander leaves.
