Dublan as one of Hausa traditional snacks especially for events or occasions. This is particularly exceptional especially the garnishing so yummy

In a large bowl mix all your powder/dry ingredients except sugar together and mix them well until well combined.

Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and knead to form a dough. The dough should be elastic and not sticky.

Use a pasta machine to flattened it, dust a working table or tray and make a desirable shape of your choice.

Put a pan or pot on the stove and add moderate amount of oil, when the oil is hot you can know start frying.

In another pot pour 1tier of sugar and add water to cover the sugar and put to boil. When the sugar begin to boil add 1and half lemon, keep stirring until the sugar turns red and sticky.

After you have finish frying the dublan allow it to cool then you immerse each into the cool sugar or spread the sugar on each one depending on your preference.

If you need garnishing, you can use already prepared sesame or you prepare it yourself.
