This is an amazing and delicious starter and is a sure heat in any parties.Normally this is made in a tandoor.But this can also be made in a grilling or nonstick pan.Paneer dunked in a yogurt mix and pan fried. This gives a crispy coating to the paneer.Crispy from outside and soft inside and tastes delicious.

Cooking Instructions

Cube paneer into 1/2 inch thick pieces.Cube the bell pepper.Cube onion and separate layers.Cube and deseed tomato. In a mixing bowl add gramflour,cornflour,mustard oil,and other masalas.Add crushed kasoori methi,ajwain, hung curd,ginger garlic paste,pinch of orange red food colour(optional),chaat masala, tandoori masala and salt to taste.Mix very well and marinate paneer and vegetables for an hour.

Spray oil in a grilling or nonstick pan.Place marinated paneer with masalas and pan fry them till lightly browned.Toss and fry.Drizzle some more oil and arrange the cubed onion,capsicum /bell pepper,tomato and fry.Toss when one side is lightly browned.The paneer pieces and veggies can be skewered alternatively and pan fried or placed directly on pan for even roasting.Then skewered or secured with toothpicks.Sprinkle lemon juice and chaat masala and serve with onion rings or any dips.
