Into the wheat flour, add sugar, salt, baking soda, curd and 1 tsp ghee.Mix well until the mixture becomes crumble well.

Knead the dough by adding water as required.Punch well to make Smooth dough. Grease the dough with ghee. Cover the dough with a wet cloth for 30 mins.

Take a dough ball from the kneaded dough and roll it a bit.

Add a mixture of chopped garlic and onion seeds and roll it one more time with the rolling pin.

Flip the roti and apply some water all over the plain surface of the roti. Now stick the rolled roti over hot tawa. Slightly press. This helps the roti to stick on to the tawa and when you can flip the tawa upside down it will be intact.

Now after a minute, flip the tawa upside down and cook roti directly on medium flame till they turn golden brown.

Add some butter / ghee.
finally, serve tandoori roti hot with curry like malai kofta and butter paneer.
