Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice
  2. 2 tspspns grated coconut
  3. 1 tbspoil
  4. 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  5. 1 pinchAsafoetida
  6. as neededSalt
  7. 1 tbspcashew slices
  8. 1-2green chillies
  9. 1 inchginger grated
  10. 1 tsp Urad dal
  11. 1 tsp chana dal (optional)
  12. 1-2dry red chillies
  13. 7-8curry leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak rice for 15 -20 minutes in water

  2. 2

    Grind coconut,green chillies, ginger and few curry leaves together.

    Steam rice adding little salt. Cook rice and spread in plate

  4. 4

    Heat oil in kadhai add mustard seeds then add Urad dal, chana dal and cashews in oil fry it till golden brown. Add dry red chillies, curry leaves and Asafoetida in it stir it.

    Now add grinded coconut and saute it for 2-3 minutes add salt as per taste mix it.

    Add steamed rice and mix it well

    Cover it and cook for 3-4 minutes

  8. 8

    Serve hot or cold
