Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwheat flour
  2. To tastesalt
  3. As neededwater
  4. As neededoil
  5. To tastechill powder
  6. 1 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 tspcumin seeds
  8. 2onion finely chopped
  9. 2tomato finely chopped
  10. As neededboil patotes
  11. 1/2garam masala
  12. 1 tspgarlic paste
  13. 1 tspginger paste
  14. 1 tspkasiri mithi

Cooking Instructions

    For the puri - firstly combin the wheat flour,salt and 2 tsp of oil and mix well.

    Knead into a doughy using enough water. Cover the dough with cloth and let it rest for 30 min.

    Heat oil in a pan for frying. Now put one rolled out poori into the hot oil.

    Fry them till they turn golden brown in colour from both the side

    For the aloo sabji- heat 3 tsp oil in a pan and cloves,cumin seeds,chopped garlic,chopped ginger and chopped green chillies.

    Let them saute for 2 min and add chopped onion and let them saute for 5 min.

    Now add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt let them saute for 2 min.

    Now add chopped tomatoes and still well. Cook for 2 min.

    Add crumbled potatoes and stir well and add 3/4 cup of water and cook covered for 10 min on medium low heat. And add gram massala, kasuri methi stir well and cook for 5 more min.

    Aloo pori is ready serve it.
