Steps

Combine the water, lemon juice, lemon zest, and sugar in a stainless steel container.

Mix well and place in the freezer for 1 hour. Then remove and break up the top layer of ice, stirring well.

Return to the freezer for another 30 minutes.

Repeat the process, breaking up the ice and stirring every 30 minutes, until the mixture becomes a slushy granita texture. Serve with a sprig of mint.
