  1. 1 1/2 cupmango puree
  2. 1 cupsemolina
  3. 2 tablespoonssugar
  4. 2 tablespoonsghee
  5. 1 tablespoonchopped almonds
  6. 1 tablespoonchopped cashews
  7. 1 cupmilk/water
  8. 1/2 teaspooncardamom powder
  9. as requiredTutti fruitti for garnishing

    Take a bowl to mix sugar and mango puree together. In a container boil the water.

    Heat a little ghee in a pan over medium flame to fry the cashews and almonds. Remove and keep it aside.

    In the same pan, add more ghee to roast the semolina (sooji) until it turns light brown in colour.

    Next, add the boiled water to the roasted semolina and keep stirring. Make sure no lumps are formed.

    When the water is absorbed fully, add cardamom powder,mango pulp mixture and cook for a few minutes.

    Transfer the halwa to a serving bowl and garnish with the tutti fruitti and serve.
