Blend the spinach and green chilli to a smooth puree by adding water as needed.

In a wide bowl take whole wheat flour, cumin powder, salt and oil together. Mix everything well.

Add the spinach puree to the flour mix. Knead it to a medium soft dough. Add little water if required. Cover the dough and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.

Make small balls of the dough, equal in size. Roll out each ball into small circle (puri).

Heat sufficient oil in a wok. Deep fry the puris from both sides on a medium heat.

Remove and place the puris on an absorbent paper and serve hot.
