I grew up with quite a few Italian bakeries around town. I've searched for ten years for a recipe. Found it on pinterest! Now I'm on a search for the colored ones with the sprinkles on them. I don't know what they're called though. : )

You can do variations of cookies with this recipe like adding in chocolate chips or a Hershey kiss on top after you remove them from the oven. You can get creative with it!
