Mix sooji, curd, salt and required amount of water. Make a batter and leave it for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile make the chutney. Fry the peanuts in little oil

In a blender add peanuts, grated coconut, garlic pods, onion, salt and little amount of water and grind it to smooth paste.

In it add curd and tamarind water and mix it. For the tadka add mustard seeds, dry red chilli and curry leaves in tsp oil and put over the chutney.

Give it a mix and your chutney is ready.

In the sooji batter add chopped onions and carrot and mix. Add baking soda. Mix.

Heat an appe pan. Add 1/2 tsp of oil in each, pour the batter let it cook for 2-3 minutes or unit brown.

Turn the appe and again cook for 2-3 minutes or till it's done.
