Steps

Heat oil in a wok, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, bay leaves and dried red chilli and allow it to crackle.

Now add garlic paste in it and cook it until it's raw is completely gone.

Then add onion paste in and cook it until it turns light brown in colour.

Now add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and chole masala in it and cook it well.

Then add curd in it and cook it until oil starts to separate.

Now add boiled matar in it and cook it for 10-15 minutes on medium flame.

Then add boiled matar water and more water if required and bring one boil in it.

Now add garam masala, powder and dried fenugreek leaves in it and cook it.

Now add paneer cubes in it, cook it for 5-7 minutes on medium flame then switch of the flame.

Your matar paneer is ready to serve now.
