Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 kgMutton leg
  • 1/4 cuplemon juice
  • 1/2 cupyogurt
  • 2 tbspsginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbspsgreen chilli paste
  • 1 tbspscumin powder
  • 1 tbspssalt
  • 1 tspgreen cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tspnutmeg powder
  • 1/4 tspMace powder
  • 1 tbspsgaram masala powder
  • 1 tbspschaat masala powder
  • 2 tbspsred chilli powder
  • 1/2 cupoil
  • 2sliced tomato

Steps

  1. 1

    First make deep cuts on the mutton leg and keep aside.

  2. 2

    Now take a bowl add all the listed ingredients and mix it nicely.

  3. 3

    Now put the masala on The mutton leg and spread all over nicely. Coat both sides of mutton leg with masalas.

  4. 4

    Now keep it in the freeze ovrernight for marination till spices are absorbed.

  5. 5

    Now next day heat up a pan with oil add the marinated leg and cook for 5-6 minutes from side flip it and pour all the remaining masalas and sliced tomato in it and cover the lid and cook for 1 hour till it’s tender.

  6. 6

    After 1 hour open the lid and fry it from both sides on high flame till it becomes totally dry.

    And our delicious mutton leg is ready to serve.
