Saag Paneer
Steps

In a pan add 2 teaspoon oil, add sliced onion, ginger garlic paste, green chillies cashews and fry till onions are soft.

Add this mixture to a grinder jar and make a smooth paste.

In the same pan add clean green leaves with 1/4 cup water and cook until the leaves are soft.

Drain the water (do not discard this water, use in the saag and use leftover in soups). Add leaves to the grinder jar and make a smooth paste.

In another pan heat 2 teaspoon each of ghee and oil, add cumin seeds and roast.

Add the onion paste and cook.

Add the spices and sauce until the mixture oozes out oil. Add the green puree.

Mix and cook. Add salt according to your family preference.

Add cream and butter and mix well. Let the mixture cook until it bubbles. Saag is ready to serve.

Add fried paneer cubes and serve hot with chapatis.

This delicious Paneer Saag can be had with jeera rice or just alone.
