These are so quick and easy to make. I make a big batch of basic batter and add the flavours I want. Popular flavours have included Triple Choc, Choc Chip, Blueberry, Lemon and Poppy seed, Raspberry and White chocolate. You can make smaller quantities if you wish but these freeze really well and defrost quickly so I like to make a big batch.

Pre heat oven Gas mark 6

Mix together main dry ingredients in a bowl

Mix wet ingredients together in a jug
- 4
Stir the contents of jug into bowl with dry ingredients

Batter should be lumpy so dont over mix
- 6
Divide and/or add flavours as required. For triple choc i tend to stir in melted dark chocolate and then chips or chunks but you can substitute melted choc with cocoa powder
