Cinnamon Raisin Bread Cinnamon Raisin Bread
Have I mentioned I’ve tried to make yeast bread over the last 35 years and failed miserably? Well, I have. I’ve followed recipes down to a T. Failure! I’m thinking I’m making it harder than it has to be. I know there’s a lot of ‘feel’ to it. I introduced my grandson to cinnamon raisin bread and the smell alone, from the toaster, was all it took to sell him hard. It’s expensive stuff right now!! 5 bucks a loaf? And the loaves are dinky. Delicious, but dinky. I went in WITHOUT a recipe except my own little quick hot roll recipe, and made 2 loaves for Pennie’s, literally. I even used whole wheat flour and golden raisins. It can be made with either flour. I like the fiber in whole wheat. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

This is, by far, the best rice pudding I have made. The raisins are optional and this pudding is delicious with or without them. You could also double the recipe if you'd like a bigger batch. Just make sure the rice you use is medium grain for the best results texture wise. Christina -

Roll up the dough the same way, cut into 8 pieces, and place them into foil baking cups. Let rise a second time until it becomes 1.5-2 times the original size. Cinnamon Raisin Apple Oat Muffin Cinnamon Raisin Apple Oat Muffin
Do you ever repurpose your recipes according to what you have on hand? I do. This is from my oat cookie recipe. I love my no fuss recipes. I also like using more wholesome natural ingredients. My family isn't big on things that are too sweet so I have adapted my recipes to bring down sugar and so doing that we taste more of the main ingredients. These are not the same texture as a regular muffin. They have more of that oat flavor. Hope you enjoy! Taylor Topp Comacho
