Steps
- 1
In a pot, bring 4 cups (1 liter) of milk to a boil. Add a cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon if you don't have a stick) and the peel of 1 lemon.
- 2
Let it heat on the stove.
- 3
In a separate saucepan, add 2 cups (1/2 liter) of milk and the 2 packets of custard mix. Stir well until combined.
- 4
When the milk in the pot starts to boil, add the custard mixture from the saucepan. Stir with a whisk, reduce the heat, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. After 5 minutes, turn off the heat and pour the mixture into clay ramekins. Place them in the refrigerator to chill. When ready to serve, sprinkle sugar on top.
- 5
Caramelize the sugar with a kitchen torch or hot iron, then serve.
