Cheese chutney Pav

In a mixer jar take garlic cloves, red chilli powder, salt & cumin seeds and blend it into a smooth paste, use little water if needed.

In a pan take 1 tbsp butter, add the red garlic chutney, sauté it for a minute, then add the raw tomato puree and a little more salt and cook the chutney for 8-10 minutes. Lastly add chopped coriander and switch off the gas.

Now take a non-stick tava, grease it with butter lightly toast the Pav on both sides, then take 2tbsp butter on the tava, add finely chopped spring onions and the red chutney, coat the Pav with chutney on both sides nicely, then place half cheese slice inside each Pav and serve the cheese chutney Pav hot, garnish with spring onions.

Wrap the cheese chutney Pav in foil paper and carry it for your picnic.
