Ingredients

  1. 4-5Idli pieces leftover
  2. 1/2 tspChaat masala
  3. as neededsalt for sprinkle
  4. as neededOil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the refrigerated or day old idlis into fingers, as shown below the picture.

    Heat oil in a pan till medium hot. Add the idli fingers and deep fry till light golden or slightly more.

  3. 3

    Drain the fried idli on paper towels to remove excess oil.Sprinkle either chaat masala or salt on top. Just mix well so that coated evenly.

  4. 4

    Serve the idli fry with sambar or coconut chutney or tomato sauce.
