Steps

Peel, Wash and chop potatoes. Wash peas.

Peel, Wash onion ginger garlic. Grate all including tomatoes.

Heat cooking oil in pressure cooker and add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely grated ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds. Now add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add grated onion and tomato and cook till oil leaves the sides.

Add all the dry ingredients salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes. Add potatoes, peas and makhana and mix. Add 1 glass water in it and place the lid of cooker. Pressure cook till three whistles and switch off the flame. Let pressure releases automatically.

Serve hot with chapatti or rice garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
