Take chopped onions in a big bowl, add gram flour, salt and cooking soda to the bowl.

Add water in batches and make a thick batter.

Heat oil in a kadhai, half fry pakoda’s of the batter and place on a tissue paper.
- 4
Press the pakoda’s from a flattened katori and deep fry again in hot oil.
- 5
Serve hot with ‘ghughni’.
